Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the patch when Rob got home from work yesterday. I was being lame and wanted to get pumpkins at the grocery store. Taylor wasn't having any of that so we ended up at Linder Farms and I am so happy that we did. They have so much to do there. Petting zoo, hay rides, corn maze, food, and of course...pumpkins! It was an absolutely gorgeous day too. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The only downfalls to the day were I got partially stung by a bee, meaning that it stung me but the stinger didn't go all the way in...stupid bee, and Taylor got bit by the camel when he was feeding it. Other than that it was perfect.

Nothing says teenager like a cell phone stuck in your ear while picking pumpkins.

It's the thing to do this month I think. I was hoping we could go one evening instead of a Saturday but it didn't work out. I bet it was a lot less crowded than it was on Saturday.
I like the peace signs Taylor's flippin the camera. :)

I love going to the pumpkin patch but weren't the bee terrible?!

That cell phone pic of Austin made me laugh because I got the exact same picture of Kylee (who is only 6 mind you!).

Are these the people that have the zebra? The people that own it, the daughter is in Kayla's class. I'll have to ask her about the animals.

Glad to hear you guys had fun. It cost a bit more, but it is worth a few bucks for a priceless memory.
Tay gets stung hunting then bit picking pumpkins. Kid gets no breaks. Glad to see Tay is keepin it real for the fellas in ought8.
HOlla!

I wish we had a patch of anything to pick other than seashells... I am really missing fall this year. Ben is in southern GA right now and said its so beautiful and a little chilly too. I am so jealous. I have a feeling each year is going to be harder than the last. I think fall is becoming one of my fav seasons since I have missed it the last 2 yrs.

Wow the kids look so much bigger... and it's only been 2 months since I've seen them. Growing like weeds!!

what is a camel doing at the pumpkin patch anyway? who'd have thought that you'd have to beware of biting camels? yikes!

Cute pictures! I love pumpkin patches but wish they didn't cost so much!! Austin definitely looks like a teenager with the phone in his ear. :)

Nothing says Northwest Fall like camels. It is good to hear you guys are spending time together as a family, even with Austin getting to that point where being with the parents isn't cool anymore.
