Two surprises

The first was waking up to this.

Hellooo. Is it not April 9th?

The second was while I was watching American Idol. Anyone else see the end of the show tonight? They sang Shout to the Lord. I was completely blown away. The only thing they changed was at the beginning when they sang 'my Shepherd, my Savior' instead of 'my Jesus, my Savior'. Either way millions of people heard that song. I am shocked that they used it but pleasantly surprised.

Rob sent me a picture while he was at the Red Socks game. He has nice cushy seats about 5 rows above the dugout almost looking straight at third base. Work? Seriously? He gets home tomorrow night at midnight and we are hitting the slopes with Rich and Steph on Friday. Should be fun skiing without kids in tow.

I taped the show because I had to do double duty with karate last night. I did catch the end when I got home though and it didn't sit right with me. I felt like they were taking the Lord's name in vein in a way - using a prayerful song as a performance.

They weren't cushy seats. They were the metal/wood seats that have been there for like a hundred years and I had someone basically sitting on my lap on both side because we were so close to each other, but the seats were right behind the third base dugout. And just for the record it is Red Sox, not Red Socks!

Eww, why is there snow on the ground? Sorry about that, I am trying to get used to all this rain! Blah! Anyways, that is awesome about American Idol, I didn't know that sang that.

We didn't have snow over here. Weird huh?
I had heard they were going to sing that on AI but I missed it. It's kind of weird they changed the words.
Rob's comment made me laugh. :)

Snow! Yes! I love it! American Idol does "Shout to the Lord", on the 9th and 10th! Wow, I thought it was blog worthy too. :-)
